FAQ & Shop Policies

What does the your booking include?
We provide a unique vintage shopping experience in New York City. When you reserve your appointment with us, you will be able to shop privately and securely within our space for 1 hour. No other clients, other than any guests you specify, will be allowed while you are shopping during your reserved time. Your booking does not include stylist or tailoring services; these are additional fees. A small deposit is required to hold your reservation. It will be applied to your purchase.
Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of the fashion/garment district in New York City. Our exact location will be emailed in your booking confirmation email. We do not allow visitors without an appointment. 
Can I bring people with me to my appointment?
Yes! You may bring 2 additional people with you. Unbooked guests will not be permitted in our studio.
I want to bring a different guest than the one I specified at booking. Are guest changes allowed?
Yes! Please send us an email at hello@femme.nyc. Include your reservation date and time, the name of the guest(s) you would like to remove, and the name of the guest(s) you will be bringing with you.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Sorry, no pets are allowed inside of our studio space.
What is your cancellation policy?
We allow cancelations up to 24 hours prior to the appointment, so we can try to accommodate other clients. To cancel or reschedule, click on the link included in your booking confirmation email. Your deposit will be refunded if you wish to cancel. Deposits are not refundable for no-shows or failing to cancel in time. 
What is your late arrival policy?
We are reserving our space just for you during this time, so we are happy to accommodate you to the end of your appointment. 
What if I need more time for my appointment after my appointment ends?
If no other appointments are scheduled that day, and our staff is available, we may be able to accommodate your request. If we are unable to accommodate you, we can schedule another time for you to visit again.                                                                        
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and credit cards. If using a credit card, the name on the card must match your identification.
I need help putting looks together. Do you provide styling services?
Absolutely! We provide stylist services, at an additional fee, which you must book with your reservation. Our stylist will contact you before your appointment to discover any goals you have. She can pre-select looks for you before you arrive and will be available to assist you throughout your appointment. 
What is your return policy?
Please inspect all items before leaving our studio to ensure you will be satisfied with your purchase. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
Do you provide tailoring services?
Yes! We have an in-house tailoring specialist. Services include tapering, shortening, slimming, and custom work/ creative projects. Additional fees for all tailoring and cut & sew services will apply and vary depending on the complexity of the work. You may inquire at your appointment or with hello@femme.nyc afterwards.
There are no available appointments that work with my schedule, but I really want to visit on a certain time and/or day. Is there any flexibility?
We may be able to work you in our schedule. Email us at hello@femme.nyc.
How often do you add new items to your collection?
We add new items weekly. Follow us on Instagram to see what’s new!
I love your space. Can I rent it out for an event?

Additional shop policies

Visiting outside of your appointment timeframe is strictly prohibited. You may arrive up to 10 minutes before your appointment starts.

Because the clothes in our studio are vintage, rare, and delicate, many pieces require special cleaning and maintenance. For this reason, we ask that you:

  • Be mindful of your personal hygiene and handling when trying on clothes, shoes, and accessories,
  • Do not bring outside food & drinks with you, and
  • Refrain from smoking

Inappropriate behavior towards the staff, merchandise, and/or studio space will not be tolerated.
